India thump Pakistan by 76 runs, well played India

India extended their superb record against Pakistan in World Cup matches by recording a 76-run victory, Virat Kohli the star performer with his 107 runs victory in their opening match at the Adelaide Oval. He is the man of the match unsurprisingly. Virat Kohli is the new Sachin tendulkar for the Indian fans. He is the first Indian batsman to hit a century against Pakistan in the World cup. Pakistan scored 224 chasing India’s 300, as Sohail Khan fell to a Mohit Sharma ball – a catch by Umesh Yadav. It was seriously a legendary victory.
India have now won all six of their World Cup matches against Pakistan. India will next take on one of the favourites to win the tournament, South Africa, at Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 22nd. On the other hand, Pakistan will face the West Indies in their next match in Christchurch on February 21st
